About Us
At Momentum Dance Co., we believe dance is more than movement — it’s a journey of self-expression, creativity, and confidence.
Founded in 2025, Momentum Dance Co. was created with a clear vision: to provide high-quality dance training in a supportive, inspiring, and community-driven environment. Located in the heart of Manjimup, our studio offers a wide range of styles including ballet, jazz, hip hop, acro, lyrical, contemporary, and more.
Our mission is simple — to empower every student to move, grow, and flourish through dance. Whether stepping into the studio for the very first time or continuing to refine advanced skills, each dancer is guided with care, structure, and purpose.
At Momentum, we place a strong emphasis on both technique and creativity, ensuring students develop solid foundations while still having the freedom to express themselves. We are passionate about creating confident, resilient dancers who feel supported every step of the way.
More than just a dance studio, Momentum Dance Co. is a place where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and a genuine love for dance is nurtured.
Join us and be part of something special.

Karlee Winzer

Principal Teacher/ Director
Hi, I’m Karlee!
I am an experienced dance teacher, choreographer, and performer with an extensive background in professional training and performance. Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, I began dancing at just two years old and have since trained intensively across a wide range of styles, developing a strong and versatile technical foundation.
I hold a Diploma in Dance and Theatre Arts and have undertaken comprehensive training under the CSTD syllabus, alongside years of additional professional development, workshops, and industry-based training. My experience spans multiple disciplines including jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, commercial, and acrobatics, allowing me to deliver well-rounded, high-quality training to my students.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to perform and choreograph for a variety of professional and community events. Working within fast-paced and high-performance environments has strengthened my adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to produce engaging, high-energy work. I have collaborated with industry professionals and choreographers, continually refining both my technical skillset and creative voice.
My teaching journey began at Kerry Decoursey Dance Gallery, where I not only trained but later transitioned into teaching and choreography. During this time, I developed original works, mentored emerging dancers, and built strong, lasting relationships within the dance community. Since relocating to Manjimup in 2021, I have continued to grow my teaching career, sharing my passion for dance while fostering a strong and supportive studio culture.
As the Director of Momentum Dance Co, I am deeply committed to creating an environment that prioritises both technical excellence and personal development. I believe dance is not just about movement, but about building confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. My choreography has been showcased at local events including the AG Show and Cherry Festival, strengthening the connection between the studio and the wider community.
In addition to my dance qualifications, I hold a Bachelor of Psychology and Counselling. This allows me to take a more holistic approach to teaching, supporting not only my students’ physical development but also their mental well-being and self-confidence.
Dance has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I am incredibly proud to share that with my students. Whether a dancer is just starting out or striving for advanced training, I am dedicated to guiding each individual with professionalism, care, and a genuine love for what I do.
